East Coast Hospice is delighted to announce that on Friday 28th September 2018, it will host its inaugural Charity Golf Day at the Gorleston Golf Club and is inviting businesses and groups of friends to gather together a team of 4 for a day of golfing fun on this popular and well-known course.

The event has been kindly sponsored by the Morgan Sindall Group and Saul Humphrey, Managing Director of Morgan Sindall in the East, said: “We’re very proud to be sponsoring this year’s corporate golf day, which will raise vital funds towards the hospice’s plans to progress with the building of Margaret Chadd House.

“These plans for the new facility will ensure that even more people across Great Yarmouth and Waveney are able to receive the outstanding, specialist care that will be provided by staff at the hospice.

“East Coast Hospice is an inspirational charity that relies heavily upon the support of its local community. Fundraising events such as this are an excellent way to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the staff and volunteers at the hospice for the outstanding work that they do, and to make sure that they can continue to do so.

“Morgan Sindall is committed to ensuring that every aspect of our work creates a positive impact on people’s lives, so we’re honoured to be a part of this year’s fundraising efforts and hope everyone has a fantastic day for this very special cause.”

Robinsons Volkswagen Lowestoft have also shown their support to the charity event by offering an amazing £15,000 car for a “Hole in One” on a selected Par 3 hole.

Andrew Levesley, General Manager at Robinsons Volkswagen Lowestoft said “We are so pleased to be able to offer a prize that may attract more attention to a fantastic local charity and their efforts in improving the specialist care offered to the people in our community. Wishing all players, the best of luck scoring that hole in one on the day and being able to drive away the winning Volkswagen Polo!”

After a day on the fairways players will return to the 19th hole for a sumptuous evening carvery and tempting desserts, concluding with a charity auction with the Star auction lot of a private 3-day yacht charter around, Majorca and a chance to bid on a Norwich City FC 2018 signed first team shirt.

Hole sponsorships are available and donations to the evening auction would very much welcomed
