Richard Utting Associates LLP (RUA LLP) has worked with and supported East Coast Hospice since 2012 advising on construction and buildability, contractor procurement, construction costs and professional appointments as appropriate.

RUA LLP are now appointed as Project Managers and Cost Managers (Quantity Surveyors) and since the recent formalisation of their appointment this year, RUA LLP is working closely with Jenny and the team to ensure a clear structure is in place to drive the project forward. As such, the design team are now formally appointed and well underway in formalising the general arrangement layouts with the hospice.

The architects, structural engineers and services engineers are now working closely together to ensure a fully coordinated design which provides the best possible value for the hospice.

RUA LLP’s role as Project Manager and Cost Manager is to lead the client and consultant team through the design and construction process ensuring the clients aspirations are met, whilst providing at all times value for money.

There has clearly been a significant amount of work produced by Jenny and her team to get the project to this stage.  Drawing on their experience will be invaluable to the success of the scheme.
