Lowestoft based Essex & Suffolk Water put East Coast Hospice forward to be a recipient of their parent company’s “Cheque It Out” scheme and were delighted to be informed that the charity had been selected.
Elaine Charlton of Essex & Suffolk Water presented Darren Lane, Community Fundraiser for East Coast Hospice with a cheque for £50. “We are very grateful to Essex and Suffolk Water for putting our name forward in the Northumbrian Water Group’s charity recognition scheme. The money donated will go towards the purchase of specialist equipment for the hospice. We look forward to the continued support of the team at Essex and Suffolk Water in Lowestoft as we embark on our big push for our appeal to raise funds to build the much-needed hospice for the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area. Lowestoft is at the heart of the Waveney area and the support of the business community, coming together with the local community and community groups, pledging their support to build the hospice is vital.
